The EDI Institute and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute plan to begin offering EDI to Dana-Farber patients under an innovative program design that enables patients to utilize EDI independently while in waiting rooms or infusion chairs. Patients will utilize their own mobile devices or be provided with iPads for creating imagery using MyMoments Mobile, and will receive printed books with their images at no charge. This is the first application of EDI relying on participants to self-train, and will be used as a pilot for the potential expansion of this model across multiple hospital and medical settings.
