Expressive Digital Imagery® (EDI) is now being used across a wide variety of clinical and community settings, cutting across ages, cultural backgrounds, levels of cognitive ability, and amount of technical and artistic experience. This is bringing us into exciting new areas, such as working with older adults with early- to mid-stage dementia. Because EDI is so accessible and requires no particular artistic or technical skills, it enables people facing virtually any life challenge to express themselves in entirely new ways. And these individuals typically take great pride in the imagery they create, further enhancing EDI’s therapeutic value.
This short video provides an overview of the breadth of applications for EDI, and the list continues to grow.
