In 2015, Lara Sobel, a social worker with the Vermont Department for Children and Families (DCF), was shot by a woman allegedly upset about losing custody of her child. Last week, on the 2-year anniversary of Lara’s death, DCF staff from across Vermont used EDI in a powerful way to help honor and remember her life and work.
