EDI Helps Children with ASD to Convey Their Feelings

Children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) often have extreme difficulty expressing themselves through words. At the Massachusetts General Hospital Aspire program, EDI is enabling children with ASD to convey their feelings in an innovative way, helping enhance the effectiveness of existing behavioral therapies.

This simple image allowed one young girl to joyfully and easily respond to the question: “How do you feel when you are proud?”
