EDI Helps Children with ASD Express their Feelings

At Aspire, part of the Massachusetts General Hospital, clinicians have integrated EDI into leading programs for children and teens with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Helping individuals with ASD share their feelings is an important part of treatment, and EDI allows expression beyond what is often possible through words alone. This image, which began as an ordinary stock photograph, was created by a teen to share with his Aspire clinicians and peers how he feels during times of stress.
