EDI at MGH Aspire

At the Massachusetts General Hospital ASPIRE summer camp, a day program for children with autism spectrum disorder, campers are using EDI to express feelings and experiences. One activity involves campers all beginning with the same original photograph, and creating personal images reflecting their moods at a moment in time. The group sharing and discussion surrounding these images promote connection and engagement that is often not possible through the spoken word in children with autism spectrum disorder.
